RENEWLA is a nonprofit organization that believes all youth in Los Angeles should have the opportunity to discover their potentials and pursue their passions. Performing Arts and Coffee were two of the cohorts exhibited at their culminating event, Paradigm Cafe night. Paradigm Cafe was the finale in which all the students were able to showcase their skills learned from the 9-week mentorship program, whether it be acting out an exclusive play on stage or pulling shots and serving lattes for the attendees.

 

Due to the event's intended desire to convey the students' personal empowerment and passionate displays of their newly developed skills, the playbill was designed to fit its theme of "Finding Your Voice". The simplistic and traditional style of the layout was to represent the classic playbill used in many theaters. Alongside, the cover art contains a vintage microphone with a scripted brush type treatment to provide the timeless, inspirationally feel-good, and scholastic feeling that the event signified.
